I’ll be making body fonts larger on most websites.
Somebody tweeted recently to the effect that “if your website fonts are still at 11px, I seriously hope you’re OK with no one reading your content.” That’s a perfect way to put it.
Lately I’ve had some really comfortable reading sessions on several websites with body copy as large as 24px. It feels generous and a much better fit for the web ideal of chunking your content and allowing people to skim it, rather than forcing them to try to read it on your own terms.
