I review a cool mechanical pencil from Zebra.
The S20 is a terrific-looking pencil with an extremely balanced feel. Pictures and test drawings inside.
I was surprised by the quality, weight, and feel of this pencil—and that’s not even mentioning the fact that you can actually bend the pencil body to make the lead advance.
Why would anybody want that? It uses 5.5mm lead, which is gigantic. And the pencil body is short and stubby. Also, it costs $30 USD. Again, why would anybody want that?
I like 0.7 and 0.9mm mechanical pencils because they encourage you to think a little bit bigger. And I really like using this pencil, so I’m going to write about it, darn it.
