I really like brush pens like this: Disposable, hard tip, black ink. The hard tip is nice for detail work where you still want control over line weight (brushes are good at that).

I do appreciate the label design as well. I like to see a design that’s fairly well thought-out on my pen barrels. Maybe that’s pretty picky but I think good design makes a product more intriguing.

The tip does soften with use, so if you use a lot of pressure on your brush pens, you might try several different types, or experiment with a synthetic tip marker instead.
