My last ride was kind of boring. So today after shivering down the road for a bit, I got to the corner of Bush St. and Low Gap Rd. (kind of like the Rubicon) and thought let’s have some adventure, so we had some. I rode up to Mendocino College, went to the bookstore, thumbed through the T-shirts like a tourist, got offended when they only had my favorite shirt in pink, and headed home. As usual, the area up around the college was beautiful. A bit of morning fog and very green. This ride felt great and I know I could have done 15 miles if I planned things out better. Plenty of energy from this morning’s granola cereal or something? and new bike shorts that are more comfortable to ride in. So next time, maybe.
